    Now all I can envision is Laura Petrie wailing, “Oh, YOG!” in hapless dismay as her husband’s face erupts into a mass of rugose and unhallowed tentacles.

    For years, my brain told me that the make-up at the end of this sequence was the same as the Jagaroth make-up from the Doctor Who serial City of Death. I have to look it up every now and again to remind myself that they’re only vaguely similar.
